Sports day + Varun's b'day Party.

It was morning 8 o clock, the time scheduled for the sports day match to start. Only two organizers were on the ground at that time. Everyone else came at Indian timing. Is it late announcement of the event or some other reason not many were there to support their teams. First match was girls basket ball match. It was a 'ok' match in which 1st yrs dominated and won. {(Precious metal used for making jewels)+ie} injured her ankle during this match. Then there was men's volley ball match which was also a decent match. 2nd year Singh's serve was almost impossible for the opponents to take. 2nd yrs won the match 3-1(5 sets). I was not very happy with my own game in this match. Simultaneously there was throw ball match for girls in which 1st years won. I couldn't watch this match as I was playing the other side but during the break I noticed 2nd year girls giving a tough fight in the second set to 1st years who had better players.
After this match few of the people left unaware that the best match of the day, men's basketball match was yet to come. It was a close game till the second quarter after which 2nd years dominated. I enjoyed every moment of this game and I am grateful to the audience who kept my energy level high in the game by cheering. 2nd year's combined well as a team and won the match comfortably.

Varun's B'day Party
Varun's b'day celebration started at midnight where there was many 2nd years gathered there. It was surprising to see buddy from city of spirit not being there. Oh! he had gone home. :). Celebration ended with cake cutting and b'day bums. It was again Asit who initiated the 'remembrance gift'. Dude assume what will happen during ur b'day...he he. Afternoon around 1 everyone who were invited was expected to gather in dhabha express for his treat. Everyone[Around 25 people] came at sharp 1:30 pm and had  buffet. It was a good lunch. 'Happy Family' couldn't make it due to prior commitments. Few first years were there but one expected guest whose second name has connection with the inventor of telephone wasn't there [;(]. After the treat people moved to creamy-inn for ice cream and I came back to hostel. Sports day pics coming soon.
